Buch-Empfehlung: 'Tanz den Kommunismus’ - Punk-Bands in der DDR
Eine sehr persönliche Rezenssion
"Zu eurem Gericke-Buch: ich finde es sehr gelungen. Lese es jetzt eifrig. Und will dazu auch gern eine Rezension schreiben. Auch weil ich die Szene selbst erlebt habe.
Als 'Peacer' 1981 ein Wutanfallkonzert in der Leipziger Michaeliskirche. In Imads damaliger Wohnung mit ein paar Leuten Theater probte. Später war ich mit Perry (dem kurzzeitigen Sänger von l'attentat) befreundet. Imad - was für eine Drecksau.
Wie ich im Nachhinein erfuhr, hatte er den Leuten vom MfS mal von einer Lesung in meiner besetzten Wohnung in der Lindenauer Henricistrasse (HPC - Henrici Punk Club) berichtet. Da waren knapp 50 Leute da, es gab Bockbier und ich hielt einen Vortrag über ein DDR-Buch mit dem Titel "Anarchismus, Terrorismus, Linksradikalismus".
Ende '86 habe ich mich dann von der Szene entfernt. Sie waren mir einfach zu versoffen, zu unpolitisch. Ich wollte die direkte Konfrontation mit dem Staat, sah mich selbst als Autonomer. Habe dann auch mehrfach mich mit der FDJ-Ordnungsgruppe angelegt. Oft eine blutige Nase geholt. Anyway.
Ich finde Gericke schreibt wirklich gut. Sehr eigen. Sehr wortreich, witzig, kenntnisreich. Nicht abgehoben. Manchmal etwas schwer zu lesen. Vor allem wenn man den Alltag in der DDR nicht kennt."
Aus einer E-Mail an den 'Verbrecher Verlag'. Der mir das Buch zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Und der von 1998 bis 2003 in der Rosenthaler Strasse 39 in Berlin-Mitte mein - geschätzter - Untermieter gewesen ist. Kauft euch das Buch.
Es ist - manchmal - zwar etwas kleinteilig. Nicht jede erwähnte Band hatte auch einen Gig. Und Ost-Berlin nicht der Nabel der Welt. Doch wie der Autor dreckige Spitzel rupft, über Feeling B (die Vorgängerband von Rammstein) ablästert und Biermann, Wolf zur Sau macht, ist wirklich lesenswert.

Drei Tage AUSVERKAUFT. Unzählige Biers, Umarmungen. Tränen der Freude, Pogo, gute Laune. Dazu Bands, die mehr als drei Jahrzehnte nicht mehr zusammen auf der Bühne gestanden haben. Punk, NDW, Noice, Heavy Metal .... Dass Leipziger 'Heldenstadt Anders Festival' im Leipziger UT Connewitz war ein voller Erfolg! Die - mehr als zweistündige - Doku zeigt Ausschnitte aller Auftritte. Sie blickt auch hinter die Kulissen dieses einmaligen Ereignisses aus dem September 2019.
